This notice explains how Sailing Merchant Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 39 660 631 907), which is developing Signum, handles personal information given to us through this website. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, firm, role and anything you write in your message. To protect the form from automated abuse, our security provider, Cloudflare, checks your browser and receives technical information such as your IP address.

Why we collect it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry and, where you have asked to hear more, to tell you about Signum. We do not sell your information or use it for anything else. If you do not give us your name and email address, we cannot reply to you.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run this website and to receive and send email: Cloudflare, which hosts the site and runs the security check, and AgentMail, which carries our email. These providers may store or process your information outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not otherwise disclose your information unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with you, and then delete it.

Access, correction and complaints

You may ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@signumapp.com.au. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, email us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
